Septentrio RxTools
Septentrio RxTools - Connect to RTKdata.com
Stream RTK corrections from RTKdata.com to your Septentrio receiver using RxControl + DataLink — a proven path to RTK: FIX.
Requirements
Septentrio receiver (e.g., mosaic‑X5) + antenna (open sky)
RxTools installed (RxControl + DataLink)
Internet connection
RTKdata.com credentials (username/password).
Step‑by‑step
2) Open DataLink and create two connections
Connection 1 (receiver): Click Serial → choose the USB COM → Connect
Connection 2 (network): Click NTRIP (Client) → enter IP/Port/credentials/mountpoint (next step) → Connect
Bridge the links: enable Link2 in Connection 1 and Link1 in Connection 2 so data flows both ways.
Enter RTKdata.com connection settings (Regional hostnames + IP fallback)
Use the regional RTKdata.com hostname where possible. If your device only accepts numbers or your network DNS blocks hostnames, use the numeric IP fallback. Keep ALL CAPS where noted.
Host (domain):
rtk.rtkdata.com
Host (IP fallback):
13.56.117.10
Port:
2101
Username / Password: your RTKdata.com credentials
Mountpoint (ALL CAPS):
AUTO
(recommended) — orAUTO_WGS84
,AUTO_ITRF2020
,AUTO_ITRF2014
Only these four mountpoints are valid. Typing local CRS names as mountpoints will result in no corrections. Always use ALL CAPS.
Notes
Some PCs expose two virtual COM ports over USB; you can dedicate one to RxControl and one to DataLink.
Heights are ellipsoidal; convert to orthometric with a geoid in processing if required.
