EOS Arrow Gold

EOS Arrow Gold - How to Connect with RTKdata.com (NTRIP RTK Setup)

EOS Arrow Gold GNSS receiver streaming NTRIP corrections from RTKdata.com

Get centimeter‑level positioning on your EOS Arrow Gold by streaming RTK corrections from RTKdata.com via NTRIP in the EOS Tools Pro app. This guide mirrors the video workflow (power on → app connect → NTRIP profile → connect → RTK FIX)

Requirements

  • EOS Arrow Gold GNSS RTK receiver with survey pole/tripod and open sky

  • EOS Tools Pro app (iOS/Android) on a phone/tablet with internet (Wi‑Fi / hotspot / LTE)

  • RTKdata.com credentials (username/password).

Quick checklist

  1. Power on the Arrow Gold → verify LEDs (Power, GNSS, Bluetooth).

  2. Open EOS Tools Pro → connect to the receiver (Bluetooth). Confirm an approximate position.

  3. Differential / NTRIP: create a profile → enter IP, port, credentials, mountpointSend NMEA‑GGA = ON.

  4. Start the differential stream → watch status change to RTK FIX → survey.

Step‑by‑step setup (EOS Tools Pro)

1

1) Power up & verify indicators

  • Attach your external antenna (if used) and ensure open sky.

  • Power on the Arrow Gold; check Power and GNSS LEDs; Bluetooth may blink while waiting for the phone/tablet.

2

2) Connect the app to the receiver

  • Launch EOS Tools Pro on your phone/tablet.

  • Connect to your Arrow Gold over Bluetooth.

  • Confirm the app shows a live approximate position (you’re still on standalone GNSS).

3

Enter RTKdata.com connection settings (Regional hostnames + IP fallback)

Use the regional RTKdata.com hostname where possible. If your device only accepts numbers or your network DNS blocks hostnames, use the numeric IP fallback. Keep ALL CAPS where noted.

  • Host (domain): rtk.rtkdata.com

  • Host (IP fallback): 13.56.117.10

  • Port: 2101

  • Username / Password: From RTK Credentials in the internal dashboard (not website login)

  • Mountpoint (ALL CAPS): AUTO (recommended) — or AUTO_WGS84, AUTO_ITRF2020, AUTO_ITRF2014

4

4) Start the correction stream & verify FIX

  • Tap Start (or Connect) in EOS Tools Pro to begin NTRIP streaming.

  • Watch the timer/bytes‑in/out; you should see Receiving corrections.

  • The solution should progress GNSS → RTK Float → RTK FIX. Once FIX shows, you’re at centimeter‑level accuracy.

5

5) (Optional) Frame alignment for exports

If your workflow demands a specific frame, align your project/output to the mountpoint you chose:

  • AUTO → automatically applies the regional frame (e.g., NAD83(2011) US, ETRS89/ETRF2000 EU).

  • AUTO_WGS84 → WGS84 (G2139)

  • AUTO_ITRF2020 → ITRF2020 (epoch 2015.0)

  • AUTO_ITRF2014 → ITRF2014 (current epoch)

Vertical reference (heights)

RTKdata.com streams positions in the selected geodetic frame; heights are ellipsoidal by design. If you need orthometric (mean sea level) elevations, enable a geoid on the rover (if supported) or apply one in your GIS/photogrammetry workflow during processing/export.

Troubleshooting

  • No connection / no corrections: Re‑check IP + Port (2101), username/password, and mountpoint = ALL CAPS (AUTO recommended). Confirm the phone/tablet has internet.

  • Stuck on FLOAT (no FIX): Move to open sky, ensure Send NMEA‑GGA is ON, and use the regional IP nearest to your job site. Reconnect.

  • Wrong heights / offsets: Remember the rover reports the antenna position; apply the pole height/offset in your field app. For elevations, convert ellipsoidal → orthometric using a geoid.

Why RTKdata.com?

  • Centimeter‑level real‑time accuracy

  • < 1 s latency for responsive field work

  • Global reach, dense coverage in key regions

  • Simple IP‑only setup that works across popular field apps and receivers
