DJI Agras T50 agricultural spraying drone connected to RTKdata network for precision farming via NTRIP

This guide provides the exact NTRIP settings to connect your DJI Agras T50, T40, or T25 agricultural drone to the RTKdata.com network using the DJI Agras App

D-RTK 2 Station Users: If you previously used a local D-RTK 2 Mobile Station, you must disconnect it in the settings before configuring the Network RTK. You cannot use both at the same time.

Prerequisites & Hardware Requirements

Before you start the controller, check these 4 points to avoid connection errors:

  • The RTK Dongle: Ensure the 4G/RTK Dongle is inserted correctly into the Remote Controller (RC).

  • SIM Card: The SIM card inside the Dongle must have active data (try opening a website in the RC browser to test).

  • Firmware: Ensure both the Aircraft and the Remote Controller are on the latest firmware.

  • Credentials: Have your NTRIP Username & Password ready (from the Dashboard).

1

Access the RTK Menu

  • Power on the Remote Controller and the Aircraft.

  • Open the DJI Agras App.

  • Tap Execute Operation (or enter the Camera View).

  • Tap the Satellite Icon (or RTK Icon) in the top right corner of the screen.

  • Select "RTK Settings".

2

Configure NTRIP Parameters

In the RTK Settings menu:

  1. RTK Positioning: Toggle switch to ON.

  2. RTK Service Type: Select "Custom Network RTK" (do not select D-RTK 2).

  3. Advanced Settings: Tap to expand if hidden.

  • NTRIP Address: rtk.rtkdata.com

  • Port: 2101

  • Account / Password: Use the specific NTRIP credentials from your RTKdata.com Dashboard Note: These are different from your website login

  • Mountpoint : AUTO (recommended) — or AUTO_WGS84, AUTO_ITRF2020, AUTO_ITRF2014

3

Save and Verify "FIX"

  1. After entering the details, tap "Save" or "Connect".

  2. Watch the status indicator at the top:

    • 🔴 Connecting: The drone is trying to reach the server.

    • 🟡 FLOAT: Connected, but accuracy is low (wait 30-60s).

    • 🟢 FIX: Ready to fly. Precision is < 2cm.

Troubleshooting for Agriculture

Farming environments have specific challenges. Here is how to solve them.

Issue
Solution

Connection Drops near Tree Lines

Trees block satellites. This is not a network issue. Increase flight height or reduce speed near edges.

"Account Error" / "Login Failed"

You likely entered your email as the username. Use the Mountpoint User from your Dashboard.

No Internet on Controller

The Agras RC often loses Wi-Fi when the drone connects. Use the 4G Dongle for the most stable connection.

Offset / Shifted Lines

Did you change the Mountpoint? Always use AUTO. If you switched from a local Base Station to Network RTK, you may need to re-calibrate your field boundaries.
