This guide provides the exact NTRIP settings to connect your DJI Matrice 4 Enterprise (M4E), Matrice 4 Thermal (M4T) to the RTKdata.com network using DJI Pilot 2.
Prerequisites & Hardware Requirements
Before you start, ensure you have the following ready:
Drone: DJI Matrice 4 Enterprise (M4E) or Thermal (M4T).
Controller: DJI RC Pro Enterprise running the DJI Pilot 2 App.
Recommendation: Ensure your controller firmware is up to date to avoid known NMEA formatting bugs in older versions.
Connectivity: A stable internet connection on the controller (Wi-Fi, Phone Hotspot, or 4G Dongle).
Credentials: Use the specific NTRIP credentials from your RTKdata.com Dashboard. Note: These are different from your website login

Verify RTK status (FIX)
Go outdoors with a clear sky view. Confirm:
Tap "Save" or "Connect".
RTK status changes from FLOAT → RTK: FIX.
If you remain on FLOAT: ensure open sky, recheck IP/Port & credentials, and set mountpoint to AUTO.

CRITICAL WARNING (The GGA Issue): Do not attempt to connect indoors. The DJI Mavic 3E will only send the required NMEA position string (GGA) to our servers after it has achieved a standalone GNSS fix (approx. 10-12 satellites). If you connect too early (or indoors), the connection will fail or stay on FLOAT because the caster receives no position data.
Vertical reference (heights)
RTKdata.com streams ellipsoidal heights. If you need Orthometric Heights (Mean Sea Level), ensure you load the correct Geoid file in DJI Pilot 2 or apply it during post-processing in your photogrammetry software.
Troubleshooting Common Errors
Error: "Server Connection Failed" or "Not connected"
Fix: This is often a port issue. Ensure you are using Port 2101. Also, verify that your username and password match your RTKdata.com credentials exactly (case-sensitive).
Critical: If you are indoors, the connection will fail because the drone cannot send its position (GGA) to the server. Go outdoors and get a GNSS fix first.
Issue: Status is Stuck on "FLOAT" (No FIX)
Fix: "FLOAT" means you are receiving corrections, but the solution isn't precise yet.
Check Baseline: Since you are using the
AUTOmountpoint (Nearest Base), ensure you are within 30-50km of a physical station.Check Environment: Move away from tall buildings or trees (Multipath interference).
Action: Restart the RTK service in the menu to force a reconnection to a closer base station.
Issue: "RTK Module" menu is missing in DJI Pilot 2
Fix: This happens if the hardware isn't detected.
Physically remove and re-attach the RTK module on top of the drone.
Restart both the drone and the controller.
Ensure the "RTK Positioning" toggle is ON.
